Just read the dazzling synopsis of ''Mucho Caliente'', which echoes my 37 year-old partner's jokingly-stated latinesque desires...will make a wonderful present to her!

Francesca! You certainly do paint with words, I can almost taste the palette! Your description seemed to just take a life of its own in my mind. I have never been so enthralled just 'reading' about someone's childhood before. nfortunately the Saudi authorities, for reasons of their own clearly, blocked the links for any further reading. I will surely read more later in a more stable environment. Will check about Finland and Hungary! Bye from the sandstorm. Love Iain

Stop! Are you mad? Your hairdryer?? Brave girl. Very, very brave girl. Love your ocular ice-picks too! Nice one, hon. :)

"and hurled ocular ice-picks at him" ~ that's my fave among all your incredible descriptions... Oh! Have I had the experience with frozen pipes!!! Here, we've had the water drip-dripping a lot because of frigid temps. My other is obsessed because we had a bunch of pipes freeze about 20 years ago, where we used to live. It was an eerie sound of pop-pop-crack-pop. Also, at that place we had to run a long outdoor cord and place a 100 watt bulb down into the water meter hole every winter so it wouldn't freeze. Yep, I've used a hair dryer before for unfreezing pipes. The smell... I wish I could help!

Oh, Francesca, thanks for sharing your holiday to Dubai. So many good things and adventures. I think my favorite would have been the Dolphins. What an absolutely amazing loving experience. I also loved your family photos. Your descriptions are the absolute best!!! Don't ever stop. They truly make my day and make the experience live for me. Bigger than usual smiles, Savanna
